Jvari is an example of The Early Medieval Georgian church that survived to the present day almost unchanged.

Mtskheta City. Mtskheta is a city in The Mtskheta-Mtianeti province of Georgia. One of the oldest cities of Georgia and its former capital. Currently a small provincial capital, nearly a millennium till the 5th century AD, Mtskheta was a large fortified city, a significant economic and political centre of the Kingdom of Iberia. Due to its historical significance and several cultural monuments, the "Historical Monuments of Mtskheta" became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta, Georgia, to the northwest of the Georgian capital Tbilisi. A masterpiece of the Early Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. It is currently the second-largest church building in Georgia, after the Holy Trinity Cathedral.

Funicular Train Station. The ride up to Mtatsminda on Funicular is spectacular, as are the views from the top of a 710-meter high mountain and the Funicular Complex restaurant building has a couple of great places to eat or drink. There is a big amusement park for kids and adults, bars, cafes, TV towers. To ride the funicular you need a plastic card about $ 1 USD (sold at the ticket office) on which you then add credit for your rides (for any rides in the Mtatsminda amusement park).

Mtataminda Park. The train will bring you up from the lower station on the funicular to Mtatsminda Park. The park has carousels, water slides, a roller-coaster, funicular, and a big Ferris Wheel at the edge of the mountain, offering a splendid view over the city. The park is situated at the 770 meters height, the highest point of Tbilisi, in the area of more than 100 hectares. Giant Wheel is the highest attraction in Mtatsminda Park: it is 65 m high.

The Holy Trinity Cathedral. The Holy Trinity Cathedral, commonly known as Sameba, is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. It is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox cathedral in the world and one of the largest religious buildings in the world by total area. The overall area of the cathedral is 3,000 sq meters. The Sameba Cathedral was constructed between 1995 and 2004 and paid for by anonymous donations from citizens and several wealthy businessmen.

Metekhi Church. Under the Russian rule (established in 1801), the church lost its religious purpose and was used as a barracks. The citadel was demolished in 1819 and replaced by a new building which functioned as the infamous jail down to the Soviet era and was closed only in 1938. Despite initial resistance from the local Communist leadership, the church became functioning again in 1988.

Rike Park. This green expanse along the eastern riverbank, with its winding paths, pools, and fountains, is joined to the west side of the Mtkvari by the Bridge of Peace. The two large metallic tubes at the park's north end are a concert hall and exhibition centre, an uncompleted project designed by Italy's Massimiliano Fuksas, unfortunately, it is currently empty. You can also find many original sculptures and objects of modern art, including a giant piano and a giant chessboard.

The Bridge of Peace. It is covered in several thousand LED lights that illuminate it in the evenings. The bridge is a convenient place to cross the river in the centre of Tbilisi, connecting Rike Park and the old streets of the Sharden area. The bridge which stretches 150 meters (490 ft) over the Kura River was ordered by the City Hall of Tbilisi. The official opening took place on May 6, 2010.

Cable Car Ride. Opened in 2012, a cable car connects Rike Park on the left bank of the Mtkvari river with Narikala Fortress. The fantastic 360-degree views of the city from the large windows of the car and have an easy ride to the top of the hill. The ride only takes a couple of minutes. Comfortable cable cars with tinted glass windows create the perfect opportunity for cityscape photos in climate-controlled comfort.

Mother Of Georgia Monument. The statue was erected on the top of Sololaki hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli designed the twenty-meter aluminum figure of a woman in Georgian national dress. She symbolizes the Georgian national character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies.

Narikala Fortress. Narikala dates right back to the 4th century when it was a Persian citadel. Most of the walls were built in the 8th century by the Arab emirs, whose palace was inside the fortress. Subsequently Georgians, Turks, and Persians captured and patched up Narikala, but in 1827 a huge explosion of Russian munitions stored here wrecked the whole thing, and today it's a rather picturesque ruin, with only its walls largely intact.

National Botanical Garden. There have been gardens on this site for centuries. Formally the Royal Gardens, became the Botanical Gardens in 1845. Located in a gorge below Narikala Fortress with a river tumbling through it that divides its 128 hectares and its displays of 4500 species of flora from Georgia and around the World. The entrance located at the end of Botanikuri Street.

Love Bridge. A magical place like any other city in Georgia. Get your eyes rolled on the padlocks reading some sweet love notes and names of the lovers inscribed on the locks – hundreds of thousands of stories hanged forever in this metal fence. With such gravitas, Old Town Tbilisi’s love bridge is recognized to be a paramount romantic destination, where lovers throw the keys to the abyss as a symbol of love locked into it forever.

Waterfall Tbilisi. The Legvtakhevi (Tsavkisistskali) Waterfall The closet place and the easiest way to cool off. The venue is extremely popular with tourists, especially in summer, since the temperature is considerably low. It is noteworthy, that there are sulfur baths (Abanotubani) adjacent to the waterfall. River "Tsavkisistskali" overflows here from the Botanical Garden creating a waterfall.

Last Stop, Sulfur Bath. Also known as Abanotubani, it is the ancient district of Tbilisi, Georgia, known for its sulfuric baths. Located at the eastern bank of the Mtkvari River at the foot of Narikala fort across Metekhisubani, Abanotubani is an important historic part of the city — the place, where according to a legend the King of Iberia, Vakhtang Gorgasali’s falcon fell, leading to a discovery of the hot springs and, subsequently, to the founding of new capital.
